Crochet cotton dress - Free pattern

I'm so excited to share this crochet cotton dress pattern with you all!

I love its simple design and mix of gorgeous pastel colours. The cotton yarn gives it a durable, defined texture (which my two year old totally needs - lots of washing)....and did I say it has pockets??!

It's just a few weeks away from British Summertime and I wanted to make some cute little "throw on" dresses for my little Plum. As you can imagine with a sprightly two year old clothing needs to be practical, durable and adorable 🙂 This ticks all those boxes but also only cost £3 to make in 3 hours (Size 3-4 years) WINNER!

Cotton is perfect for Summer items and this cotton blend yarn has the overall feel of cotton but has a little bit of stretch to it so there's room for movement and comfort

Yarn porn!

The pastel colours are so beautiful and go so well with the design.

My patterns are always written with functionality in mind. The dress can be fastened at the shoulders for easy getting on and off...a must when your little one won't sit still to get dressed.

I've also added two open pockets, because everyone loves a pocket... including Alice who fills them with sticks and bits of paper mostly.

Today I'm going to share the dress for free in size 3-4 years.

You can purchase a convenient download in sizes 2-3 years, 3-4years, 5-6years, 7-8years here Cotton crochet confetti dress.

Place front and back piece right sides facing each other and sew from bottom to waist on each side.

You will see side edges join perfectly together where they start to change at the waist and do not match up. This is where you should stop sewing.

Fold your straps through the gaps left by your chain space and place buttons in your desired position.

Buttons can be fastened easily with the gaps between the Hdc.
