Annabelle jacket - easy raglan crochet cardigan

The Annabelle Smock jacket is a raglan crochet cardigan worked from top to bottom. The 3/4 sleeves are added after and seamed. The smock edging and Vintage style buttons give this jacket real style. It can be worn both casual and formal!

This pattern is written in US terms.

Hey, crochet buddies, thanks for stopping by and checking out my Annabelle smock jacket pattern!

I'm so thrilled that this jacket came out just as I had envisioned - Vintage silvery frills!

Peplum and smock tops never go out of style and can be worn with jeans and smart trousers to switch up the look!

I love the 3/4 sleeve, It looks great and is perfect for Spring/Summer months where you need a little bit of layering but don't want to be too covered.

Working in raglan style is my fave! I love being able to see the jacket coming alive and best of all....minimal seaming!

This entire Annabelle smock jacket is worked in variations of Single crochet so its a beginners dream. I'm sure all of you crochet pro's will enjoy making this just the same. It's a classic item for making over and over! Maybe start early on all of those birthday/holiday gifts!

Yarn choice is everything!

I fell in love with this Silver/grey yarn it’s Vanna’s choice by Lion Brand yarn.
I can’t lie, it's a dream to work with and when washed with some softener...WOW! It became really soft, the jackets smocked edging fell beautifully!

I was blown away with the end result, I will be checking out this yarn again 100%!!

Materials needed

The faux antique buttons I found on amazon and they were made to go with this jacket...perfect!

My trusty Knitpro 6mm hook!

4 X stitch markers, You will be using these for a large part of the pattern. I suggest using actual markers instead of a piece of yarn. This means you will not lose your place or get confused with set up!
