I do LOVE a one skein project! There’s something so satisfying about finding that perfect ball of yarn, the perfect colourway and weight and only needing just the 1 ball to complete the pattern!

First of all it means its a quick project and who doesnt enjoy one of those?! Secondly, its budget friendly. I already spend waaaay more than I should adding to my mountain of yarn goodies, but then it always happens – I spot that ball of beauty eyeing me from the shelf and think “Oooooh, I need that in my life!” but what will I use it for? how many will I need??

If you have been here before then you will know I am a BIG FAN of Marble chunky yarn.

There is a huge choice of colourways to choose from. It works up a treat and being of the chunky range works up rather quickly too. It is an absolute dream to work with!

For this scarf I decided to go back to my first favorurite colourway in this range – MC45. It is a gorgeous muted rainbow of rustic charm and Bohemian like hues. Perfect for an accent scarf and just what I had in mind when I envisioned this scarf. It also comes in 200g skeins so perfect for a 1 skein project!
