Rainbow puff stitch beanie – Free pattern

Cute and easy puff stitch beanie that works up so quickly –  you will want one in every colour!

Made with a simple ‘double’ puff stitch (double puff stitch tutorial below) and in Magic light multi colour yarn.

Can I just swoon for a moment 🙂 How gorgeous does my little Plum look in her new Spring beanie – posing like a pro at only 9 months!
I couldn’t find a beanie that was not as thick as Winter ones, as Spring is on its way –  fingers cossed! I wanted something that would be comfortable and cosy when the weather is a bit milder!
I am so pleased with the result! It was a great little stash buster using less than 40g of yarn and I didn’t really need to think while making it. Its a repeat pattern round and round – soooo easy!

DOUBLE PUFF STITCH –

Materials:
4mm hook
Yarn: magic light or any DK/light yarn preemie –  Child less than 40g – Teen – Adult large 40g
Yarn needle
Pom pom maker
scissors

Stitch index:
Sc – Single crochet
Hdc – Half double crochet
HDCBLO – Half double crochet, back loops only
Slst – Slip stitch
Puff stitch
